Job Description
Job description: The Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore / Evanston is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for guests, the Front Desk Agent plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. You will be responsible for check-in/out procedures, guest requests, reservations, and general front office operations. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Perform check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
- Provide guests with hotel information and concierge services.
- Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Accurately post charges and manage cash, credit card, and billing transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Follow all Hilton brand standards and safety/security procedures. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous front desk or customer service experience in a hotel preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with computers; experience with Hilton's PEP PMS is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
