Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment. Experience in hospitality management and guest relations is highly valued, along with multilingual abilities to serve diverse clientele. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures Manage reservations and room assignments using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing, and payments Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person Assist with night audit procedures as needed to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift Support guest relations efforts to foster positive reviews and repeat business Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or customer service within the hospitality industry preferred Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve an international clientele effectively Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and ability to operate multi-line phone systems Knowledge of hospitality management software and reservation systems is a plus Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a friendly attitude Hospitality management or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, overnights or weekends if required Join our team as a Front Desk Agent to deliver outstanding guest experiences while working in a dynamic hospitality environment.
