Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to ensuring a positive experience for all guests. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. A strong emphasis on customer service and communication skills is essential. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Requirements Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Knowledge of hospitality management principles is beneficial. Familiarity with night audit processes is an advantage. Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in using multi-line phone systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest accounts and records.
