Job Description
Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service. Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel procedures. Assign guest rooms and verify reservations and guest information. Answer phone calls, respond to guest questions, and relay messages. Process payments, post charges, and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift. Handle reservations, cancellations, and group bookings. Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room availability and resolve room status discrepancies. Maintain accurate front desk logs and guest records. Provide information about the hotel, local restaurants, attractions, and nearby services. Conduct hotel availability checks and stay informed about local competitor rates. Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and presentable. Receive and distribute mail, set wake-up calls, and perform other administrative duties. Assist with laundry by washing, drying, and folding linens as needed. Follow company policies, safety standards, and attend staff meetings. Perform additional duties assigned by management to support hotel operations.
