Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out processes. Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries regarding accommodations, services, and local attractions. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software. Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional manner. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and policies to enhance the guest experience. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Skills Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone. Excellent guest relations skills, fostering positive interactions with all guests. Proficient in customer service practices within the hospitality industry. Experience with phone systems and hotel management software is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with night audit procedures is beneficial but not required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment.
