Job Description

Job Summary:
The Guest Service Representative is the first point of contact for guests at the Holiday Inn Express. They are responsible for providing outstanding customer service, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and responding to guest needs to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all guests in a professional and friendly manner Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately Process guest payments, post charges, and maintain accurate records Answer phone calls and handle reservations, cancellations, and inquiries Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly with courtesy and professionalism Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments as needed Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies Follow brand standards and procedures for Holiday Inn Express (part of IHG) Handle emergencies calmly and according to hotel procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred Proficient in using hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, OnQ, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Stand or sit for extended periods Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Use of computers, phones, and office equipment
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$11.00 - $13.00 per hour
