Job Overview Join our hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Staff member! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations at the front desk while fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive first impression Manage hotel reservations using our property management systems including booking modifications and cancellations Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information about hotel services and local attractions Check guests in and out efficiently while verifying identification and payment details Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or issues, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and maintaining guest satisfaction Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and billing details during night audits or shift changes Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, excellent phone etiquette, and professional client communication abilities Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and hospitality best practices Ability to handle high-pressure situations with tact and efficiency while maintaining a positive attitude Previous hotel experience is preferred; resort experience is a plus Familiarity with night audit processes and multi-line phone systems is advantageous Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service!
