FRONT DESK AGENT
Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites | Dual-Brand Wichita Airport Full-time | $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, starting rate based on experienceABOUT US
Hospitality is in our blood here. We are a brand-new dual-brand property, opened November 2025, with the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites operating together under one roof near Wichita Eisenhower Airport. Our team is small, close, and genuinely fun to work with. We take care of our guests because we love doing it, and we take care of each other the same way. People here actually enjoy coming to work, and that shows in everything from our reviews to our lobby.THE ROLE
The front desk is the heart of this hotel. You are the first smile a guest sees when they arrive and the last friendly face before they leave, and everything in between runs through you: check-ins, phone calls, reservations, questions about Wichita, and the small thoughtful touches that turn a good stay into a great one. We do not hand our agents a script. We trust them to read the person in front of them and respond with warmth and good judgment, and we back that trust with real training and a team that always has your back.WHAT YOU WILL DO
Take care of our guests:- Welcome arriving guests, get them checked in and settled, and send them off warmly when they leave
- Handle guest requests and concerns quickly and kindly, and follow through so problems stay solved
- Answer phones, route calls, take accurate messages, and book reservations

- Be a local guide: restaurants, directions, and what is worth seeing in Wichita
- Drive our airport shuttle when a run comes up, giving guests a friendly ride to and from the terminal
- Look for the little extras before anyone asks, because that is where the magic lives Keep things accurate:
- Handle cash and credit card transactions carefully so your drawer balances at the end of every shift
- Close and balance room accounts, post corrections, and prepare folios for express checkout
- Look into out-of-balance situations rather than passing them along
- Keep reservation and accounting records clean and current
- Protect confidential guest information at all times Support the team:
- Log guest issues and shift notes so the next shift starts informed
- Keep the desk, lobby, and public areas tidy and welcoming
- Pitch in wherever the day needs you, because that is how we all work here
