Guest Services Representative

Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software. Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of payments. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are addressed. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with hotel management software and basic computer skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Capability to perform light lifting and office tasks. Work Environment Shift work including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Fast-paced hotel environment requiring excellent customer service and multitasking abilities.
