Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. The ideal candidate must possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage various front desk operations efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until their departure. Open availability is required. Responsibilities Greet and check-in guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively. Answer phone calls using multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette. Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest accounts. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards. Provide information regarding hotel policies, procedures, and services to guests. Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision Must be capable to handling and resolving guests issues while maintaining high guest service scores Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Requirements Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Familiarity with hotel management software and night audit processes is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette. Must have an open availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Must be available to work all shifts; AM, PM and Overnights.
