Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Clerk to provide exceptional guest services during our hours of operation at our hotel. The ideal candidate must possess strong hospitality skills, communication abilities, and be able to create a welcoming environment for guests. If candidate is not strong in these areas, must be willing to learn them through in the moment training. This role is vital in ensuring smooth hotel operations, guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and guest relations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently. Manage phone systems, handle guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions. Perform basic computer tasks as well as general computer knowledge in order to efficiently utilize our system. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive guest experience. Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises during overnight hours. Assist with administrative tasks such as reservations, room assignments, and updating guest records. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for new guests or prepare them personally. Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and hospitality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, and front desk operations are preferred but not a requirement. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively or knowledge of how to utilize a translator application. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations. Knowledge of hotel systems, reservation software, and OTA platforms are desirable. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness. Hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates committed to delivering outstanding service.
