Job Description
Front Desk Associate (Morning/Afternoon Shift) Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our hotel team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will provide outstanding customer service while ensuring smooth front desk operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently. Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with reservations, inquiries, and requests. Print guest receipts, invoices, and other necessary documents. Process reservations accurately using the hotel's property management system. Respond to guest questions and resolve concerns in a courteous and timely manner. Maintain an organized and clean front desk area. Perform basic computer tasks, including data entry, email communication, and record keeping. Restock the breakfast area during the morning shift. Clean the breakfast area after service, including wiping tables, sweeping, and mopping floors. Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel laundry while monitoring the front desk. Assist guests promptly while balancing housekeeping and front desk responsibilities. Support other daily hotel operations as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous hotel front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Comfortable using computers and willing to learn hotel reservation software. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and email is preferred. Excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work independently. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as folding laundry, sweeping, mopping, and stocking supplies. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
