Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations, and delivering outstanding customer service. During overnight shifts, you will also perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions, maintain property management systems, and uphold hotel standards for guest relations and safety. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS) Manage guest inquiries via phone communication with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette Assist guests with room assignments, special requests, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions Conduct night audit processes to verify daily financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports for management Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing, and reservations while ensuring data security and confidentiality Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns to ensure guest and staff safety Support guest services by resolving issues promptly through customer service problem-solving skills and fostering positive guest relations Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as Synix or similar property management systems (PMS) Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and night audit responsibilities Excellent phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette Previous resort experience or hotel management background is preferred Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality and attention to detail Join our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while advancing your career in the vibrant world of hospitality!
