Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at Tru by Hilton. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Maintain the front desk area and lobby in an organized and clean manner. Process reservations and cancellations accurately using hotel management software. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when responding to calls from guests or potential customers. Assist in administrative tasks as needed to support hotel operations. Show reliability and punctuality for all scheduled shifts to ensure a smooth guest and team member experience. Qualifications Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written. Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
