Employee discounts Paid time off Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, answering guest questions, and ensuring a positive experience throughout each guest's stay. Key Responsibilities Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner. Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately. Process reservations, cancellations, room assignments, and payments. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns promptly and professionally. Handle guest complaints and work toward appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate guest records and follow hotel policies and procedures. Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to emails or other guest inquiries. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs. Monitor room availability and communicate changes to appropriate departments. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Follow cash-handling, security, and privacy procedures. Assist with other front-office duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous hotel front desk experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional and positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management systems. Ability to handle confidential guest information appropriately. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Skills Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS). Cash-handling and payment-processing experience. Knowledge of local attractions and services. Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work at a computer and telephone for extended periods. Ability to perform occasional bending, reaching, and other routine front-desk tasks.
