IRONWOOD LODGE 8511 HUDSON BLVD. LAKE ELMO, MN 55042
The Newly Renovated Ironwood Lodge, Lake Elmo, Series by Marriott is seeking a Front Desk Agent Full or Part Time. 3:00pm to 11:00pm shift. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED Basic experience with Microsoft Office and Excel Experience with Marriott systems preferred but not required Previous hotel or customer service experience strongly preferred Primary Responsibilities Guest Services Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns Accurately check guests in and out in a friendly, efficient manner Manage guest mail, messages, and safe‑deposit procedures Maintain solid understanding of Marriott Bonvoy benefits and enrollment opportunities Stay knowledgeable about room types, rates, amenities, and selling strategies Answer incoming calls using proper phone etiquette Accurately make and modify reservations Keep the lobby and front desk area clean, organized, and presentable Follow all safety, emergency, and security protocols Provide and manage wake‑up call requests Be familiar with the local area to assist guests with directions and information Assist with guest room cleaning when needed Monitor cleanliness in all public spaces, including the lobby, pool, restrooms, and back office Cashier & Administrative Duties Open and close shifts, including completing cash drops Perform cashier functions accurately and responsibly Balance credit cards, direct bills, cash, and the change fund at both the start and end of the shift Complete all assigned tasks on the shift checklist Communication Report guest concerns, operational issues, or system problems to management promptly Communicate effectively with incoming staff and leadership through the pass‑on log Notify maintenance of any repair needs Handle lost and found inquiries professionally and according to policy General Expectations Arrive on time and in proper uniform with a visible name tag Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude Perform additional duties as requested by Executive Staff Compensation Starting pay ranges from $15-$19 per hour , depending on experience.
