This position proactively anticipates resident needs and delivers thoughtful, creative solutions that enhance the overall resident experience. The Front Desk Associate serves as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for the community, providing recommendations and assistance related to services, amenities, local businesses, dining, entertainment, and events throughout Minneapolis. The position is expected to consistently deliver "elevated" service while building strong relationships and creating a welcoming and safe community. When needed, the Front Desk Associate may also provide support to the leasing team, including assisting prospective residents, providing property information, and coordinating tours. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Welcome and assist residents, guests, vendors, and prospective clients, providing a professional and hospitality-focused experience. Coordinate amenity reservations, including clubrooms, game rooms, guest suites, and other community spaces. Arrange and assist residents with personal services, including dry cleaning, housekeeping, pet services, and other convenience services. Receive, organize, distribute, and check in/check out resident packages while maintaining accurate package records and conducting routine package audits. Stay informed about local community and city events, activities, dining, entertainment, and services to provide residents with current recommendations and information. Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and service providers to create exclusive resident discounts, partnerships, and recommendations that enhance the resident experience. Assist residents who are traveling or away from the community by coordinating package delivery and retrieving mail, newspapers, and other items as requested. Assist with the security and administration of the building's key and access-control systems, including issuing and tracking access for residents, team members, contractors, and vendors. Support the on-site management team with operational responsibilities, including move-in and move-out coordination, inspections, scheduling, key control, and access management. Maintain a visible and approachable presence within the community, proactively identifying opportunities to assist residents and enhance their overall experience. Complete and submit daily activity reports documenting resident interactions, services provided, packages received and distributed, amenity reservations, vendor activity, service requests, and other relevant community activities. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the on-site management team.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required Candidate must have a general knowledge of either the Property Management and/ or Hospitality industry Previous customer service, concierge, or hospitality experience is preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use tact, diplomacy, and professionalism when interacting with residents, guests, co-workers, vendors, and the public. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and a high degree of self-direction. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong hospitality and customer-service mindset. Ability to remain professional, courteous, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced and resident-focused environment. Must be willing to maintain a flexible schedule, as community events, resident activities, and business needs may require occasional evening, weekend, or holiday hours.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must possess the mobility to work in a standard office and community environment and operate standard office equipment, including computers and other technology. Must be able to maintain focus and attention to detail while managing frequent interruptions and a dynamic work environment. Must have the physical ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have sufficient vision to read printed materials, computer screens, and other written or digital information. Must have sufficient hearing and verbal communication abilities to effectively communicate in person, by telephone, and through other communication methods. This role may require a valid driver's license.
