Join the City of Overland Parks & Recreation Team! The City of Overland, Missouri is accepting applications from motivated professionals for the Seasonal Part-Time Community Center Front Desk Attendant position. We are looking for friendly, motivated individuals who enjoy working with the public and providing excellent customer service. If you have strong communication skills, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in parks and recreation, we'd love to hear from you! Position Summary Under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Director and Recreation Specialist, the Front Desk Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while assisting with the daily operations of the Community Center front desk.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting and assisting visitors in a courteous and professional manner Registering participants for programs and selling memberships Processing cash, check, and credit card transactions Answering telephone inquiries Issuing equipment and assisting with facility usage Performing general office and administrative duties Support additional tasks and projects as assigned Applicant must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

Submit your completed application and resume to ErinW@overlandmo.org The City of Overland is an Equal Opportunity Employer Qualifications Minimum Qualifications include: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Valid Missouri driver's license, U.S. Citizen or lawfully authorized to work in the United States, and at least six months to one year of customer service or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, Special Requirements Preferred canidates will have at least one year of experience in a recreation or community center setting, experience with recreational management software, First Aid and CPR certification, and strong customer service, cash handling, computer, and office administration skills.
