Job Description

Candidate represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay. Determines a guest's reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stay. Helps guests complete registration cards and then assigns rooms accommodating special requests whenever possible. Verifies the guest's method of payment and follows established credit- checking procedures. Places guest and room information in the appropriate front desk racks, and communicates this information to the appropriate hotel personnel. Works closely with the housekeeping department in keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work. Maintains guest room key storage, and maintains and supervises access to safe deposit boxes. Candidate must be sales-minded. Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices. Knows the location, and types of available rooms as well as, the activities and services of the property and local area. Summary As a Guest Services Staff member, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the guest experience at our establishment. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, your core skills in hospitality, phone etiquette, and guest relations will be essential in managing inquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your premium skills in hospitality management and multilingual communication will further enrich our service offerings. With relevant experience in hotel operations and multi-line phone systems, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Join us in making every stay memorable! Qualifications Strong customer service skills and experience in guest services Proficient in front desk operations and hotel experience Excellent phone etiquette and ability to manage multi-line phone systems Knowledge of hospitality management and guest relations Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Familiarity with night audit procedures and resort environments
