Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting with guest inquiries, and maintaining high standards of guest relations. A strong background in hospitality or hotel management is preferred, along with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds. Duties Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately. Manage reservations and provide information about room availability, rates, and hotel services. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and enhance their experience. Provide information on local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities. Assist in training new staff members on front desk operations and guest service standards. Qualifications Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus; familiarity with night audit processes is advantageous. Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. A background in hospitality management or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
