We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests at Oceanana Motel on beautiful Atlantic Beach, NC. In this role, you will be the face of our hospitality team, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining guest satisfaction. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will set the tone for memorable stays and foster positive guest relations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills in a vibrant resort or hotel setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with enthusiasm, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and billing information while adhering to phone etiquette standards. Assist with night audit duties, reconciling accounts, balancing transactions, and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight. Provide comprehensive guest services including concierge assistance, local recommendations, and special requests to enhance their stay. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest comfort. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred; hotel experience is highly valued. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and strong communication abilities. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus to serve diverse guests effectively. Familiarity with front desk responsibilities such as night audit procedures, guest relations, and multi-line phone systems. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling reservations, billing, and guest requests. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including phone etiquette, guest services protocols, and hotel management software.
