Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional front desk experience. Manage guest reservations using hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) like OPERA or similar platforms. Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, offering prompt assistance and solutions. Process check-ins, check-outs, and payments efficiently while maintaining accurate records of guest stays. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction. Address guest concerns or issues promptly with customer service problem-solving skills, ensuring positive resolutions. Support night audit procedures by reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times. Maintain guest relations by offering personalized service and fostering a welcoming environment for diverse clientele, including multilingual or bilingual guests when applicable. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a hospitality setting; resort experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and night audit processes to ensure operational excellence. Exceptional phone communication skills, multi-line phone system proficiency, and professional phone etiquette. Ability to solve customer service problems quickly while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Previous experience working with hotel reservation systems and property management software preferred. A friendly demeanor combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
