Front Office Manager Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our hotel guests, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently performing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and a commitment to ensuring a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, offering an inviting and hospitable atmosphere. Check guests in and out, ensuring their stay is comfortable and hassle-free. Manage online and phone reservations efficiently and accurately. Provide guests with information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities. Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism and promptness, enhancing guest satisfaction. Maintain an organized and tidy front desk and lobby area, ensuring a presentable and welcoming environment at all times. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure timely room readiness. Process payments and authorizations securely and in accordance with company policies. Uphold and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security regulations. Assist in the creation of an inviting environment by maintaining knowledge of local attractions and services that may enhance a guest's stay.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field preferred. Prior experience in customer service or front desk operations is advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospitality management software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-pressure environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
