Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Overnight Security/Front Desk Associate to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operation of our facility during nighttime hours. This role combines front desk responsibilities with comprehensive security duties, requiring a proactive approach to surveillance, incident management, and customer service. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant monitoring, access control, and emergency response procedures. Your dedication will help create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for staff, visitors, and contractors alike. Responsibilities Monitor CCTV cameras and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access to the premises using access control systems, and verifying identities. Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures such as fire safety protocols, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency evacuation. Conduct patrols of the facility's interior and exterior areas to ensure physical security and identify potential hazards or security risks. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security incidents, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy. Manage front desk operations by greeting visitors, answering inquiries professionally, answering phones, assisting the Night Auditor, and checking in/out guests. De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques and law enforcement collaboration when required to maintain a peaceful environment. Enforce compliance with all security regulations and company policies to uphold a safe working environment. Qualifications Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and access control technology. Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation are advantageous. Maintaining alertness during overnight shifts. Strong written communication skills for incident report writing with attention to detail. Familiarity with emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and medical emergencies. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure in high-stress situations. Hotel experience a plus. Pay:
