Job Summary Mesa Provisions is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Guest Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming experience for guests. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with orders, supporting food and beverage service, maintaining clean guest areas, and working closely with the restaurant team. Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service. Assist customers with menu questions, food selections, and general restaurant inquiries. Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests to the appropriate team members. Assist with food and beverage preparation and service as needed. Deliver completed orders promptly and courteously. Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately. Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service areas. Clear and reset tables while maintaining a neat guest environment. Restock utensils, napkins, cups, beverages, food items, and other service supplies. Assist front-of-house and kitchen team members during busy service periods. Monitor guest areas and respond promptly to customer needs. Communicate customer concerns, special requests, and service issues to supervisors. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties. Help maintain accurate order presentation and consistent service standards. Handle restaurant equipment, supplies, and customer property carefully. Support coworkers with daily operations and other assigned responsibilities. Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and customer service standards. Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
