A Hotel Desk Clerk provides service to customers at the front desk of a hotel. Takes room reservations, checks in guests and handles payments; answers questions and arranges for room services requested by customers.

Compensation:
$13 - $14 hourly
Responsibilities:
Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests' needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests Mitigate customer complaints as needed Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct
Qualifications:
1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems About Company The Comfort Inn Battle Mountain is committed to providing exceptional guest experiences through our clean rooms and outstanding reputation.
