Job description General Job Description 1.Prepare and replenish maid cart with cleaning materials and all other cleaning equipments. 2.Remove furniture, curtains and all other equipment for deep cleaning or for maintenance purpose. 3.Check and clean lampshades, light bulbs, walls and all other decorations in the main lobby or in the public area. 4.Maintain cleanliness of all furniture, glasses and all windows in the responsible areas. 5.Maintain and replenish supplies in the public toilets and staff lockers and daily clean all the sanitary toilets and wash tub. 6.Vacuum carpets in every public area. 7.Check and maintain the condition of cleaning equipment and ensure that everything is kept tidily in the proper place. 8.Remove and dispose of refuse and rubbish at the assigned area. 9.Report missing or broken company property to the Public Area Supervisor. 10.Return missing or lost property of the guest to the Front Office Department and submit the written report to the Executive Housekeeper for the Lost and Found items. 11.Maintain the cleanliness and the hygiene of the responsible areas to reach the highest standard of the company. Do any other job assignment related to housekeeping assigned by the Public Area Supervisor. 1.Operate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry from machines. Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications. 2.Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor. 3.Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen. 4.Clean up machines and surrounding areas. 5.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
