Description:
The Hotel Front Desk Agent performs a variety of duties for guests of hotel. Operates PBX and answers all incoming calls and transfers calls to appropriate department. Enters all reservations/cancellations and follows through on any changes requested by guest. Registers and assigns rooms to guests, issues rooms keys, computes bill and collects payment for stay. Answers all guest inquiries to the best of your ability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide superior guest service, positively affects interactions with external and internal guests and team members; has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers. Issue room keys and collect payment for rooms. Book guests Reservations for the hotel when they call in. Responsible for shift paperwork and Front Desk bank. Assign guests accommodations in accordance with current procedures. Answer PBX calls and either directs them to appropriate personnel or answering guest questions at time of call. Collect payments for rooms and issue room keys as needed. Set up wake up calls for guests. Maintain knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, in-house groups and other situations affecting the reception desk's. Perform related and/or other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Prior hotel or other similar customer service experience preferred. Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision. Must be able to multi-task. Data entry and 10 key experience preferred.Team Members Will Enjoy:
