Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for attending to the needs of guests, especially during check-in and check out. Maintaining day-to-day paperwork, including balancing revenue and expense transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide information to guests about hotel information, services and amenities. Respond to requests from guests for assistance (ex. Ironing boards). Communicate with housekeepers regarding room status and room availability. Communicate with maintenance of problem areas. Maintain daily logs/ paperwork. (e.g. bus ticket distribution, bus schedules) Cash handling to include balancing drawer at end of shift. Handle gift shop, cigarette, and gift certificate and medicine transactions.

Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills:
Must be able to read and write English and communicate with the guest. Spanish a plus.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables including guest complaints.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain a valid State of Colorado Gaming License.
