Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, energic team player to join our staff. Our commitment to providing superior service to every guest every time, has made us an awarding hotel. Candidates will need to be able to work all shifts. As a Front Desk Agent your duties will include but are not limited to answering multiple phones, checking in and out guests, making reservations, providing information about rooms, rates and amenities and helping guests have the best visit possible. Prior customer service and/or Hotel experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions. Uniform and Name Tag must be worn at all times. Maintain high standards of grooming and personal appearance. Other duties as assigned. Skills Must have a valid driver license and pass BMV driver Background Check. Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role Experience with hotel reservations software Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor Customer service attitude Excellent communication and organizational skills

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
