Previous front desk or hotel experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and basic accounting knowledge. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficient in property management systems (e.g., Opera, OnQ, etc.). Ability to work independently and multitask under pressure. Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Guest Services Greet, check in, and check out guests with efficiency and professionalism. Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests during overnight hours. Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously. Assist guests with wake-up calls, transportation requests, and local information. Night Audit & Financial Duties Balance and verify the accuracy of daily transactions (room charges, cash, credit cards). Post room and tax charges to guest accounts. Reconcile shift reports, folios, and financial summaries. Prepare end-of-day reports for management review. Secure and balance cash drawers, credit card receipts, and deposits. Operations & Safety Monitor hotel entrances, security cameras, and guest areas for safety. Ensure lobby and public spaces remain clean and welcoming overnight. Communicate maintenance or housekeeping issues to appropriate departments. Perform scheduled property walks and verify doors are locked as required. Handle emergency situations calmly and follow hotel safety procedures. Administrative & Communication Complete all required logs, checklists, and shift handover notes. Update guest profiles, reservations, and room assignments as needed. Coordinate with morning staff to ensure a smooth transition between shifts. Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel operations.
