Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for guests and help create a welcoming arrival experience. In this role, you will manage check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, answer guest questions, process payments, and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a professional, positive first impression.
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Manage room reservations by phone, online, and in person.
- Verify guest information, payment details, and issue room keys.
- Answer questions about room availability, rates, amenities, hotel policies, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel staff to resolve guest issues and ensure room readiness.
- Process payments, post charges, and maintain accurate guest records.
- Promote hotel services, upgrades, and amenities when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure front desk area. Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, reception, or front desk operations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or property management systems preferred.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
