Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor/Desk Clerk, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience seamless service around the clock. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during overnight hours, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. Your enthusiasm for hospitality management and guest relations will help create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring a smooth guest experience. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring all transactions are correctly processed and documented in compliance with hotel policies. Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues with professionalism and care. Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of common areas, and controlling access to the property during overnight hours. Prepare shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure accurate record-keeping for management review. Support guest services by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options in multiple languages if applicable. Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Strong background in night audit procedures, guest services, and customer relations. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests. Excellent phone etiquette skills with experience handling multi-line phone systems efficiently. Demonstrated ability to manage hotel operations independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Familiarity with hotel management software and basic accounting principles related to night auditing is preferred. Previous experience working in a fast-paced hospitality setting that values guest satisfaction and operational accuracy.
