Job Description

We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Front Desk Clerk to join our Chickasaw Retreat and Conference Center Hotel Unit 1 team located at the Chickasaw Retreat and Conference Center working. This is a 3rd shift position.
Summary:
Responsible for processing guest reservations, registrations, payments, departures, and answering the switchboard ensuring our guests have a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment Maintains and promotes professionalism Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area Explains various aspects of programs, promotions, benefits, rewards and or requirements to internal and external customers, citizens, etc. Cleans assigned area Cleans and sweeps floors Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms May empty ash trays Disposes of trash May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas Processes all inquiries received, arrange, coordinate and confirms all hotel reservations through the Lodging Management System (LMS) Actively assists in marketing of casino, hotel, citizen, employee and/or other events, promotions and activities to both internal and external customers as assigned Prepares daily reports Operates point-of-sale terminal to tally customer purchases and ensure accurate payment is received Operates point-of-sale terminal to tally customer purchases and ensure accurate payment is received Provides accurate change for cash purchases Processes discounts, refunds, exchanges, coupons accurately Balances register/terminal and completes reports for receipts, cash balance May perform minor trouble shooting of POS Maintains accurate cash count and assume responsibility for any shortages at end of shift May be responsible to confirm POS pricing updates Performs all other duties as assigned
