Blair County Arts Foundation and the Historic Mishler Theatre are looking for part-time Box Office Associates.

Position Overview:

The Box Office Associate position is an integral part of the daily operations of the Mishler Theatre, including the ticket sales process and delivering exceptional guest experiences by being welcoming, engaging, professional, and service oriented. This role is often the first point of contact for guests, and it requires excellent customer service in a busy environment.

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain and operate computerized ticketing system. Assist guests with purchasing tickets, in person and by phone, for productions and events. Provide information about productions, programs, and the Mishler Theatre Maintain accurate cash handling, credit card payments, bank deposits, and daily accounting reports. Perform position-related duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Friendly demeanor. Punctual, honest and reliable. Availability to work some evening and weekend shifts. Ability to remain calm and helpful while working under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Computer proficiency in MS Office, internet & social media, with the ability and willingness to learn specialized ticketing platform.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
