Overview Join our vibrant community center team as a Front Desk Staff member, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for visitors, members, and staff. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the community, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk. Your energetic presence will help foster a friendly environment and support the efficient management of center activities. Responsibilities Greet visitors and members warmly, providing information and assistance with enthusiasm. Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, professionally, and courteously, directing calls as needed. Manage front desk operations including check-ins, registrations, and answering inquiries about programs and services. Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading documents, and maintaining accurate records. Support office management duties including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and organizing community events. Assist with client communication via email or phone to ensure excellent customer support and resolve issues efficiently. Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area while managing office supplies and equipment. Perform light cleaning duties throughout center Assist with the setup/tear down of facilities for sporting events, programs, meetings, parties, etc Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Recreation Manager Requirements Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and general computer literacy. Excellent phone etiquette with experience answering multi-line phone systems and providing customer service. Ability to handle clerical tasks such as typing, proofreading, filing, and managing schedules accurately. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude. Previous front desk or administrative experience preferred; familiarity with office management is a plus. Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Handle all reservations, program registrations, memberships, and drop-in's utilizing our recreation software Always ensure proper usage of the center; making sure that all policies and procedures are being followed Ability to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.
