OPEN INTERVIEWS - STOP BY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8AM AND 5PM MONDAY-FRIDAY ASK FOR LISA, MANAGER ON DUTY BAYMONT INN AND SUITES
Position Summary:
The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in providing a welcoming and positive experience. This position is responsible for checking guests in and out, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction in alignment with Baymont's standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor. Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel's property management system (PMS). Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications by phone, email, and walk-in. Accurately process payments, cash handling, and maintain a balanced cash drawer. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and travel directions. Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met. Monitor lobby activity and maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area. Complete nightly audit procedures and reports (if assigned to night shift). Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures. Uphold brand standards for appearance, customer service, and operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in basic computer systems and office equipment. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable and punctual, with flexible availability (including weekends and holidays). Professional appearance and a positive, guest-focused attitude.

Standing for long periods May involve evening, overnight, or weekend shifts Handling guest luggage or assisting with minor requests
