Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of the Ramada State College Hotel & Conference Center. Located in the heart of the Penn State campus, our guests enjoy various amenities including beautiful event facilities and an onsite restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and ensuring each guest has a positive experience throughout their stay. Front Desk Agent Qualifications:
MUST be available weekends and holidays Valid Driver's License Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred (hospitality experience is a plus) Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, execute professionalism, and work independently or as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with computers and reservation software (e.g., Opera, RoomKey, etc.) We're open to: Open to applicants under 18 years old, provided it is legally allowed for the job and location A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
Front Desk Agent Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly attitude Check guests in and out using hotel reservation systems Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally Answer phone calls and manage reservations, cancellations, and room changes Process payments and issue room keys Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area Uphold hotel policies and safety procedures at all times Communication method(s) used: Email Phone In person Hours per week: 10-19 20-29 30-39 Overtime often available:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 32.0 per week
