Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth hotel operations during overnight hours. As a key point of contact, you will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and oversee the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities Welcome guests with warm, friendly service, ensuring a positive first impression upon arrival. Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations with precision, utilizing hospitality reservation systems. Conduct the nightly audit process by reconciling accounts, verifying transactions, and preparing financial reports to ensure accuracy. Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues with problem-solving skills. Maintain security protocols during overnight hours, including monitoring CCTV surveillance and conducting safety checks around the property. Communicate effectively with team members and guests using proper phone etiquette and clear client communication techniques. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times. Assist with guest relations by addressing special requests and providing local information to enhance their stay. Document shift activities thoroughly through detailed shift reports and incident logs. Experience Prior experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts is highly preferred. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms, is advantageous. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse guests. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving are essential. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures ensures preparedness for safety situations during overnight shifts. Previous resort experience or working in a hotel environment that emphasizes guest services enhances your suitability for this role. Demonstrated ability to handle phone communication professionally while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
