The Front Desk Attendant serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and committed to creating a welcoming environment for every guest. Key Responsibilities
Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Check guests in and out efficiently using the property's reservation system.
Answer telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and make room reservations.
Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate guest records.
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure room availability and guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
Balance cash drawer and complete end-of-shift reports as required.
Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and security protocols.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous front desk, hospitality, customer service, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer and telephone skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, filing, and handling guest luggage when necessary.
