We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Front Desk Associate to welcome guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, and ensure a smooth, welcoming stay at our small hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, multitasking ability, and a positive attitude toward delivering excellent hospitality experiences
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival; assist with check-in and check-out processes; provide room keys and hotel information .
Reservations:
Handle phone, email, and in-person reservation requests; confirm bookings and manage room assignments .
Information & Assistance:
Answer guest inquiries about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services; arrange transportation, tours, or other guest requests .
Billing & Payments:
Process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate guest accounts .
Coordination:
Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready; escalate guest concerns to management when needed.
Front Desk Maintenance:
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming .
Required Skills & Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and courteously
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software (experience with Opera, GoConcierge, or similar preferred) Positive, guest-focused attitude and teamwork orientation
Preferred Qualifications
Hospitality, hotel management, or related field education or training
Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service roles
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends as needed
Work Environment
This is a small hotel setting, meaning the role will involve direct, personal interaction with guests and close collaboration with a small team. The position offers opportunities to develop guest service skills in a welcoming, close-knit environment.
