As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be our guests' first point of contact, ensuring they have a memorable and pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. Essential Job Functions:
Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere upon their arrival. Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Provide information and answer inquiries about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Maintain accurate guest records, including personal information and payment details. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues. Assist in managing reservations, cancellations, and room assignments. Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional and inviting appearance.
Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills required. Previous experience in a customer service role strongly preferred. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and be able to learn new software programs as necessary. Must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a variety of situations and with different levels of authority and responsibility. Must be able to work some weekends.
