Visit us at www.depalmahotels.com Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-focused Lobby Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall readiness of the hotel lobby and public areas while helping create a welcoming and polished environment for guests. The Lobby Attendant plays an important role in the guest experience by helping ensure the hotel's lobby, hallways, public restrooms, elevators, entrances, and other guest-facing areas remain clean, organized, and well presented throughout the day. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in presentation, works well independently, and understands how much first impressions matter in hospitality. Responsibilities Clean and maintain the hotel lobby and public areas in accordance with hotel standards Keep entrances, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and public restrooms clean, stocked, and guest-ready Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and spot clean public spaces throughout the shift Remove trash, debris, and used items from public areas promptly Monitor the appearance of public spaces and respond quickly to cleanliness needs Restock supplies in public restrooms and other guest-facing areas as needed Support the housekeeping team with public area upkeep and operational readiness Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or unusual conditions promptly Maintain cleaning equipment, carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner Uphold hotel and brand standards for cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism Qualifications Required Previous housekeeping, cleaning, janitorial, lobby attendant, or hotel support experience preferred Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and complete physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, and move supplies and equipment safely Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation Reliable attendance and the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed Professional attitude and teamwork skills Preferred Previous hotel lobby attendant, public area attendant, houseperson, or housekeeping experience Experience maintaining hotel public spaces or guest-facing areas Familiarity with Marriott or other branded hotel cleanliness standards Ability to work efficiently with limited supervision Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus in the McAllen market Schedule Flexible schedule based on business needs Day, evening, weekend, and holiday availability as needed Job Type Full-time Part-time Pay Starting at $12.00 per hour and up based on experience Benefits Eligible associates may be offered: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off Holiday pay Marriott travel discounts and perks Growth and advancement opportunities with an established hotel management company Join Our Team This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, presentation, and creating a welcoming hotel environment for guests.
