The Front Desk Associate is responsible for creating a welcoming and positive experience for every guest from arrival through departure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a professional and positive attitude. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience. Handle guest reservations, cancellations, modifications, and room assignments. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest questions and requests. Process payments and maintain accurate guest account information. Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and surrounding businesses. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other hotel departments. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the front desk and lobby area. Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety and security standards. Assist with other duties as assigned by hotel management. Qualifications Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, friendly, and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer and cash-handling skills. Must be reliable and dependable.
