Job Description

About the Role The Guest Service Agent is often the first impression of Texoma Destinations. This role is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience by assisting visitors before, during, and after their stay. From answering questions and booking vacations to coordinating with operations and welcoming guests on property, the Guest Service Agent ensures every interaction is friendly, professional, and efficient. This position serves as the primary point of contact for reservations and general guest inquiries. Primary Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and through email. Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude. Assist guests with questions about accommodations, amenities, activities, and the Lake Texoma area. Resolve routine guest concerns while escalating more complex issues when necessary. Reservations & Vacation Planning Book cabin, RV, campsite, boat rental, and public cruises. Guide guests through the reservation process and recommend experiences that fit their needs. Process payments, deposits, and reservation modifications. Maintain accurate reservation records within company software. Property Tours Conduct cabin and slip showings for prospective guests. Highlight amenities, accommodations, and available experiences. Help guests find the best accommodations. Marina & Front Desk Operations Process marina slip payments and guest check-ins. Assist with guest arrivals and departures. Answer general questions regarding marina services, day-use access, and resort amenities. Communication Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally. Respond to guest emails, online inquiries, and reservation requests. Monitor and follow up on reservation leads in a timely manner. Maintain clear communication with guests throughout the booking process. Team Coordination Communicate special requests, maintenance concerns, and scheduling updates. Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Marina, and the Sales & Events team to deliver a seamless guest experience. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, positive, and service-oriented personality. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable using computers, reservation systems, and Google Drive. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Previous hospitality, tourism, customer service, hotel, marina, or front desk experience is preferred but not required. Ideal Candidate You genuinely enjoy helping people. Whether you're answering the phone, giving a property tour, or helping a family plan their Lake Texoma vacation, you understand that every interaction represents our brand. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand for extended periods. Occasionally walk resort and marina properties to provide tours. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and seasonal peak periods as business requires. What Success Looks Like Guests receive prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service. Reservations are accurate and efficiently managed. Communication between departments is seamless. Prospective guests leave excited about their upcoming stay. Every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for from the first phone call to checkout.
Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour
