The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, by providing exceptional patient service and supporting the administrative functions of the office. This position requires a strong understanding of patient care, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to handle situations at a moment's notice and overseeing the delivery of home health services under the Primary Care Program. This role ensures that care is being provided in compliance with state regulations, agency policies and individualized care plans. Duties/ Responsibilities Perform medical administrative support tasks including scheduling appointments to go to patients' home to conduct supervisory visits Monitor caregivers' performances, providing coaching and address issues related to services delivery Assist with orientation and ongoing training or attendants/caregivers as needed for clock in and out Schedule appointments for admissions into the agency Provide support to office staff as needed Train caregivers on clock in and out using the Vesta mobile app Verifying visits in the Vesta system Verify insurance information in order to get an authorizations (as needed) Checking OIG monthly (state and federal) as needed Verifying monthly eligibility (as needed) Maintain organized filing systems for supervisory visits documentation Provide front desk support including answering multi-phone systems with professional phone etiquette (as needed) Communicate effectively with patients regarding care plans and medical services Utilize computer skills to manage data entry, typing and documentation within Microsoft Office applications Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery are being performed Support the clinic's operational needs by performing clerical duties as required/and as needed Communicating effectively with co-workers (other office staff) regarding the care of mutual clients/patients Experience/Skills Previous experience in a medical office setting or clinic environment is preferred but not required, agency is willing to train the right candidate Bilingual abilities are a plus but are not required Computer skills needed Strong customer service skills along with clerical experience. Must have a passion for people Working knowledge of office equipment (i.e., copy machine, computer) Strong phone etiquette and the ability to answer multi line phone Office etiquette Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Qualifications Strong communication and problem solving skills Ability to work independently and travel to patients' home Valid driver's license with good driving history Ability to multi task Excellent time management skills
