Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an RF Technician to join the Package Test organization at a large semiconductor client in Richardson, TX. This role supports the testing, troubleshooting, qualification, and production release of RF semiconductor devices used in commercial, aerospace, defense, and wireless applications. The RF Technician works closely with Production, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.   • Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical field; or equivalent military/industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor test, RF testing, or related technical environments.
  • Experience using RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment and product-related failures using structured troubleshooting methods.
  • Knowledge of ESD practices, quality systems, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor Package Test, Final Test, Reliability, or Production Test operations.
  • Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE) platforms and device handlers.
  • Experience with RF power amplifiers, filters, switches, or other RF semiconductor products.
  • IPC, ESD, or electronics-related certifications.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, FMEA, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
