Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. This energetic role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly phone communication and face-to-face interactions. Manage reservations efficiently using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or property management systems (PMS). Check guests in and out accurately, verifying identification and payment details while explaining hotel policies clearly. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and problem-solving skills to ensure satisfaction. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues swiftly. Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing information, and incident reports while adhering to hotel emergency procedures. Support night audit processes when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management review. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Proficiency with hotel management software such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest situations professionally. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele effectively. Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and client communication techniques. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest security at all times.
