Responsibilities Greet guests and visitors warmly, offering assistance and directions as needed to foster a welcoming environment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the lobby area through floor cleaning, vacuuming, and general tidying using appropriate cleaning equipment Handle cleaning tasks involving chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or cleaning supplies, ensuring manual handling safety protocols are followed Monitor the lobby for hazards or maintenance issues, reporting any concerns promptly to management Support hotel housekeeping management by assisting with janitorial tasks such as floor care and industrial cleaning procedures Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition and used correctly to uphold sanitation standards Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality environment Knowledge of floor care techniques including chemical agent handling, vacuuming, and industrial cleaning methods Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that enhances guest satisfaction Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Prior experience with hotel housekeeping management or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable Join our team as a Lobby Attendant and be part of creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional cleanliness, safety, and service!

Pay:

$12.50 - $13.50 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
