Job Description

Guest Service Agent We're looking for a warm, detail-oriented Guest Service Agent to help us create memorable Hill Country stays for our guests. In this role, you'll be the friendly face (and voice) that greets guests, helps them settle in, and makes sure they have everything they need for a comfortable, enjoyable visit. If you have hospitality experience and know your way around hotel operations, great — but we're also happy to train someone with the right attitude, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for making people feel at home. Schedule This position works a fixed schedule, 30 hours a week. Three 10-hour shifts (8am-6pm) on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. What You'll Do Provide genuine, friendly, and attentive service from pre-arrival through post-departure. Monitor daily reservations and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready before check-in. Communicate with guests by phone, email, text, and in person throughout their stay. Oversee smooth check-in and check-out processes, including registration and payment. Promptly respond to guest requests, concerns, and special needs, resolving any issues quickly and effectively. Share information about amenities like our bar, pool, and sister property access. Recommend local restaurants, shops, and attractions to enhance the guest's stay. Collaborate with all departments (housekeeping, bar, maintenance) to deliver a seamless guest experience. What You Bring Previous front desk, concierge, or guest service experience preferred. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (we use WebRezPro) is a plus. Excellent communication and active listening skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and use good judgment. A calm, confident presence — even when things get busy. A customer-focused mindset with a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome. A team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed. Professional appearance and demeanor. Availability to work the scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday shifts, including holidays when they fall on a scheduled workday. If you love creating exceptional experiences and thrive in a team-oriented, guest-focused environment, we'd love to meet you!
